This book is completely useless. It gives very brief "recipes" for doing a few very specific things in RSLogix 5000, but doesn't provide any real training or guidance. Instead, it refers the reader to the Rockwell online documentation to actually learn about the various features. 51 pages of nothing but steps to follow in order to reproduce the exact "programs" they feature. This entire book could be covered in the first day of an introductory class on RSLogix.Very disappointed! Would NOT recommend this book.

very basic book. its only around 50 pages. i was expecting a little bit more for $27 (which is the list price on the cover) others on here are selling this book for nearly $100 but the 27.99 is literally printed on the cover. its probly a good book just a little thi for the money.. .and the fact that most of the information on here is free on youtube or google.

This book skims the surface of the subjects it claims to cover so briefly that it barely gets wet. Its examples amount to the 'hello world' of programming and go no further. If you're looking for anything beyond a brief introduction to PLC programming with RSLogix, this book is not for you. That said, if you need to jump into the world of PLC programming with no prior experience, this book would get you at least to the point where you can interact with the programming environment and the device. It is approximately 50 pages long and touches on all of the subjects mentioned in its description.

This is a great reference to learn RSLogix 5000 and the various programming languages available within this technology. If you do not have much experience with PLCs and are interested in learning the basics of how they are programmed in short order, this is the book to get you started.

Do not expect a in depth explanation. You need additional reference if you a beginner in RSlogix 5000 programming. I will recommend a different reference if you are a beginner.

Very Short, not Helpfull at all, u can found better information in internet, just google it, its umbelievle how a book like this could be so overpriced, i trully regret buying this book

This is a small book. Not very long. Some useful information, but otherwise you're better off downloading the free manuals from Rockwell. Save your money.

There are many ancillary items required that you don't know about until after the purchase. I am still trying to complete that "lab" so I may fully utilize the purchase.
